OFFICIAL: Nicolas Jackson joins FC Bayern from Chelsea on initial loan deal with buy clause.

FC Bayern sign Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have sealed a deal with Chelsea to sign Nicolas Jackson on an initial loan move. The agreement is now in place with all terms clarified.

Deal Structure

  • €15m loan fee for one season
  • Buy option clause set at €80m
  • Chelsea also secure a sell-on clause in case of future resale

The Senegalese striker will travel to Bavaria alongside his agent Ali Barat from Epic Sports to finalize the move.

Jackson, 23, joined Chelsea from Villarreal last summer but struggled for consistency in front of goal. Despite flashes of potential, he was often criticized for his finishing and decision-making in the Premier League.

Bayern Munich, however, see Jackson as a dynamic forward who can add pace, versatility, and pressing quality to their attack. With Harry Kane already leading the line, Jackson provides a different option for new head coach Vincent Kompany, who is keen to refresh his squad with youthful energy.

What This Means for Chelsea
Chelsea free up squad space and potentially prepare for further incoming signings. The inclusion of a non-mandatory buy option ensures they are not permanently losing control over Jackson’s future.
