Manchester United have submitted an improved offer worth up to £70 million for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, as the Red Devils continue their hunt for attacking reinforcements this summer.
According to top sources including David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, United’s new package includes guaranteed fees and add-ons, with personal terms already agreed between Mbeumo and the club.
Despite rejecting earlier offers, Brentford remain in talks, though they are reportedly holding out for the full value of Mbeumo’s contract clause. The Cameroonian forward enjoyed an outstanding 2024/25 season, netting 20 Premier League goals, and is seen as a major upgrade to United’s frontline.
Meanwhile, Brentford are actively working on a deal for Omari Hutchinson as a potential replacement. The Ipswich Town winger, valued around £35 million, has emerged as their top target should Mbeumo depart.
Negotiations on both sides are progressing, and all signs point to a decisive week ahead.
