Arsenal have won the race to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, with Fabrizio Romano confirming the famous “Here we go!”.
A verbal agreement is now in place between all parties, with Crystal Palace set to receive a package worth over £60 million for their star midfielder.
The 26-year-old had been a top target for both Arsenal and Tottenham, but ultimately decided to join Mikel Arteta’s project at the Emirates Stadium. Spurs were in the race for weeks but failed to close the deal, allowing the Gunners to strike quickly.
Eze, who was outstanding for Palace in the 2024/25 season and has become one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking midfielders, will now link up with Arsenal’s new-look attack that already features big summer arrivals Viktor Gyökeres and Riccardo Calafiori.
📌 Romano added that Arsenal had been in advanced talks for days, with confidence always high on their side. The deal is now only subject to final contracts and formalities.
If completed, this signing will mark another major statement from Arsenal as they aim to defend their Premier League crown and push deeper in the Champions League.
